HEAVEN & HELL: Light and Dark

My photographic Proposal for the BA course was inspired in the artistic use of lighting and composition through the History of Art, especially during the context of Renaissance and Baroque periods, where the narrative representations of stories, portraits and events were key elements of  Masters painters like Titian, Caravaggio or Rembrandt.

The main objectives of the project were to recreate dramatic images with a strong narrative, transferring the most notable features of classic artworks to the photographic medium. I made it by using historical recreations and theatrical compositions in the studio, prepared sets, locations and open landscapes.​
